Flightcrew has joined Chronosphere!

We're incredibly excited to share that Flightcrew has joined Chronosphere.

We started Flightcrew because we were certain that there was a better way to manage cloud infrastructure.

In our instrumented and optimized world, it feels insane that so much of managing software infrastructure is reactive and ‘guess-and-check’.

We don’t think AI will automate away SREs, but it has transformed our ability to understand complex code bases and cloud environments at scale.

Today, Flightcrew processes a firehose of code and telemetry data in ~real-time to understand the exact line of YAML causing a pod to restart, or the HCL that will break RDS.

We’re incredibly proud of the impact we’ve had on teams like Khan Academy, Schrodinger and Laurel.ai; and today we’re incredibly excited to continue our mission as part of Chronosphere.

Martin and Rob have built the world's best observability platform, with companies like Snap, Robinhood, DoorDash, and Zillow trusting Chronosphere to reduce data complexity, optimize costs and accelerate remediation.

We can’t think of a better team or technology stack to accelerate Flightcrew’s mission - we are quite literally standing on the shoulders of giants.

As part of this acquisition, we are sunsetting the core Flightcrew service while we focus on (re)building a best-in-class AI experience on top of Chronosphere’s observability platform.

A huge thanks to every engineer who took a bet on Flightcrew, as well as our investors at Norwest and Haystack. We are incredibly excited about Chronosphere and will soon share more about what we’re up to.

Thank you! Tim & Sam
